Adamari López, a Puerto Rican actress, host, and author, gained fame for her roles in telenovelas such as “Amigas y Rivales,” “Mujer de Madera,” and “Alma de Hierro.” She also co-hosted the morning show “Hoy” for 11 years before stepping away and has written books like “Viviendo” and “Cada Día Más Fuerte.” López has appeared in Mexican soap operas like “Gata Salvaje,” “Corazones al Límite,” and “Bajo las riendas del amor.” In 2011, she won the televised dance competition “Mira Quién Baila.” López is known for her resilience and triumph over breast cancer, which she wrote about in her book “Viviendo.” She has been a spokesperson for charitable organizations like the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
