Alex Lifeson, a Canadian musician, songwriter, and record producer, is renowned as the guitarist for the band Rush. Alongside his bandmates Geddy Lee and Neil Peart, Lifeson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for their outstanding contributions to the music industry. In addition to his work with Rush, Lifeson has participated in various other projects, such as his new band Envy of None, which is a collaboration with bassist Andy Curran and a singer-songwriter. He has also made guest appearances on other artists’ music, like The Mute Gods’ album “Atheists & Believers,” where his contribution was described as “a gift.” Furthermore, Lifeson is passionate about painting, particularly abstract expressionism, and some of his artwork has been displayed in galleries and used as cover art for Rush albums.
