Benigno Aquino III, commonly known as Noynoy, held the position of the 15th President of the Philippines from 2010 to 2016. As a member of the prominent Aquino family, he was well-known for his campaign against corruption and his dedication to enhancing governance in the country. Prior to his presidency, Aquino held various political roles, including a term as a Senator. Among his significant accomplishments were the establishment of the Public-Private Partnership Center of the Philippines and the enactment of the Sin Tax Reform Law. Sadly, Aquino passed away on June 24, 2021, at 61 years old.
