Bill Pullman, an American actor acclaimed for his diverse roles in film, television, and theater, gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of President Thomas J. Whitmore in the iconic film “Independence Day.” He has also appeared in other notable films such as “Spaceballs,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” “While You Were Sleeping,” and “The Sinner.” Pullman’s work in theater, particularly his performance in the Broadway production of “The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?,” has earned him critical acclaim.
