Carlos Villagrán Eslava, born on January 12, 1944, is a renowned Mexican actor, comedian, and former journalist. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Quico in the popular Televisa sitcom El Chavo del Ocho, as well as Kiko in the Telerey sitcom ¡Ah qué Kiko!. Villagrán has been lauded for his exceptional comedic timing and ability to delight audiences. His other notable works include Fuego, placeres terrenales, Las posadas, A tu dÃa le falta Aldo, and Guerra de los sexos. Apart from his acting career, he also served as a councilman for Queretaro, Mexico from 2009 to 2012, where he focused on enhancing public services and promoting educational opportunities for children. Recently, his daughter, Vanesa Villagrán, has been undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer.
