Christopher Doohan is an American actor and producer, recognized for his portrayal of Montgomery “Scotty” Scott in the Star Trek film series, including Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), and Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979). He has also participated in other Star Trek projects such as Star Trek Continues (web series, 2013–2017) and Star Trek: The Animated Series. Besides acting, Doohan has lent his voice and special effects skills to various productions. He is the son of James Doohan, the original Scotty from the Star Trek television series. Some of his additional notable works include Star Trek Continues: The Vignettes (2012).
