Edin DerviÅ¡halidović, known as Dino Merlin, was born on September 12, 1962, and is a renowned Bosnian singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. He has gained widespread popularity in the Balkans for his unique fusion of rock, pop, and traditional Bosnian music. Some of his most well-known songs include “Kad zamiriÅ¡u jorgovani,” “Bosnom behar probeharao,” and “Deset mlađa.” Throughout his career, Merlin has received numerous accolades, such as multiple Porin Awards, and has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions. His notable albums include “Hotel Nacional” and “Fotografija.” Besides his musical achievements, Merlin is also recognized for his humanitarian work, particularly during the Bosnian War.
