Dirk Blocker, an American actor, is best known for portraying Detective Michael Hitchcock in the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He began his acting career in the late 1970s and has since appeared in numerous movies and TV shows, such as Poltergeist, Prince of Darkness, Starman, and Cagney & Lacey. As the son of actor Dan Blocker, Dirk has established himself in the entertainment industry with his diverse acting abilities. Besides acting, he is also an accomplished horse rider who has participated in equestrian competitions like “cutting.” Notably, Dirk’s first regular TV role was as pilot Jerry Bragg on Baa Baa Black Sheep (1976–1978).
