He initially gained fame as a rock singer and holds an impressive record for the most consecutive Top Ten tracks by a male Japanese solo artist. Throughout his career, Gackt has received numerous accolades, including the Best Asian Rock Artist award at the M.net/Km Music Video Festival. He began his journey in the music industry as the lead vocalist for the visual kei rock band Malice Mizer before successfully transitioning to a solo career. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Gackt has also explored acting, appearing in films such as “Moon Child” alongside fellow rock star Hyde.
