Gordon Willis Jr. (May 28, 1931 รขยย May 18, 2014) was a renowned American cinematographer and film director, recognized for his significant contributions to the art of cinematography. He was particularly known for his collaborations with Woody Allen, having worked on eight of his films, including “Annie Hall” and “Manhattan.” Additionally, Willis contributed to six Alan J. Pakula films, four James Bridges films, and all three installments of Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather” series. In 2009, he was honored with an Academy Award for his exceptional work in the field.
