Ian Rush, a retired Welsh footballer, is widely regarded as one of Liverpool’s most outstanding players. He had two stints with the team, during which he set a record by scoring 346 goals and securing numerous trophies, such as five league titles and two European Cups. Rush also had an impressive international career, netting 28 goals in 73 appearances for the Welsh national team. Besides his playing career, he has been involved in coaching, charity work, and was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame.
