Irwin Keyes was an American actor and comedian, renowned for his roles in various television shows and films. He gained significant popularity for his recurring role as the oafish bodyguard, Hugo Majelewski, on the sitcom “The Jeffersons.” Keyes also starred in the horror-comedy film “House of 1000 Corpses” and had notable roles in “Intolerable Cruelty,” “The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas,” and “Dahmer vs Gacy.” Additionally, he participated in the film “Leprechaun 2” and provided voiceover work for “The Ren & Stimpy Show.” Keyes received two awards for his comedic talents, including the Golden Boot Award and an accolade from the Lucille Ball Festival of Comedy. He passed away on July 8, 2015, at 63 years old.
