Jane Pauley, a distinguished American TV journalist and author, is well-known for co-hosting the Today show between 1976 and 1989, initially alongside Tom Brokaw and later with Bryant Gumbel. Additionally, she anchored the Sunday edition of NBC Nightly News and frequently filled in for the weekend editions. Pauley has received numerous Emmys and the prestigious Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. In 2004, she hosted her own program, “The Jane Pauley Show.” As an author, Pauley has written two New York Times bestsellers and openly discussed her experiences with bipolar disorder in her memoir, “Skywriting: A Life Out of the Blue.”
