Jeff Kaplan is a distinguished American video game designer and developer, widely recognized as the co-creator and former game director of the highly popular online game Overwatch. He has also made substantial contributions to other prominent video games such as World of Warcraft, Diablo III, and Starcraft II. Kaplan has earned numerous awards for his work in the gaming industry, including two BAFTA awards and a Game Developers Choice award.
In addition to his work on Overwatch, Jeff Kaplan is known for his involvement in the MMO EverQuest, where he gained fame as a skilled player using the online handle “Tigole Bitties.” He studied creative writing at the University of Southern California and wrote and directed a short film called “The Gift” before transitioning into the gaming industry.
