Jessica McDonald is a talented professional soccer player who currently serves as a forward for North Carolina Courage. She holds the distinction of being the first NWSL player to achieve 33 regular-season goals and received accolades such as first-team junior college All-America in soccer and National Junior College Player of the Year while at Phoenix College. As a member of the United States women’s national soccer team, McDonald won the World Cup in 2019. She began her professional career in 2010 with the Chicago Red Stars and later joined Melbourne Victory FC in 2012. McDonald is a strong advocate for mothers in sports and equal pay for women in soccer.
