Joe Cocker was a renowned English musician recognized for his distinctive raspy voice and heartfelt renditions of well-known songs. He rose to international prominence with his interpretation of the Beatles’ “With a Little Help from My Friends,” which was among the 19 hits he charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Some of his other celebrated songs include “Feelin’ Alright,” “You Are So Beautiful,” “When The Night Comes,” and his Grammy-winning duet with Jennifer Warnes, “Up Where We Belong.” In addition to his musical accomplishments, Cocker made an appearance in the film “Woodstock” and performed at the legendary festival. In 2007, he was honored with an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for his contributions to the music industry. Joe Cocker passed away in 2014 at the age of 70.
