Johnny Galecki, a Belgian-born American actor, is renowned for his roles as David Healy in “Roseanne” and Leonard Hofstadter in “The Big Bang Theory”. He first appeared onscreen in the 1987 miniseries “Murder Ordained” and later played Rusty Griswold in “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. Galecki has also starred in films such as “The Opposite of Sex”, “Chrystal”, and “The Cleanse”. In 2011, he received a Primetime Emmy nomination, followed by a Golden Globe nomination in 2012 for his performance in “The Big Bang Theory”. Additionally, Galecki is a certified commercial pilot and owns an aircraft. Born in Bree, Belgium, to American parents, his father was serving in the U.S. Air Force at the time.
