Josie Davis, an American actress, gained recognition for her portrayal of Sarah Powell in the popular TV series “Charles in Charge” from 1987 to 1990. She has also made appearances in other television shows such as “Beverly Hills, 90210”, “CSI: Miami”, “Two and a Half Men”, and “The Mentalist”. Her performances in the films “Seduced by a Stranger” and “Dirty Teacher” have earned her critical acclaim. Besides acting, Davis is an activist and philanthropist. She was named after her paternal grandmother, Josephine Davis. A lesser-known fact about her is that she tried to enter the music industry in the late 1990s by recording a demo album, but ultimately chose to concentrate on her acting career. Interestingly, Davis began acting at just three years old and became a series regular on the hit show, Charles In Charge.
