Julian Savea, also known as ‘the bus,’ is a prominent figure in world rugby, having represented New Zealand as a winger in 54 matches. He plays domestically for Wellington and the Hurricanes and has previously played for Toulon. In 2021, Savea was inducted into the RugbyPass Hall of Fame. In addition to his international appearances, he has represented New Zealand in sevens and at the under-20 level. Savea became the joint all-time leading try-scorer in Super Rugby, alongside Israel Folau, when he scored his 59th and 60th career tries during his final game for the Hurricanes. In 2024, he will join Moana Pasifika for the Super Rugby Pacific season.
