Lisa Coleman, an American musician and composer, gained prominence for her collaboration with Prince as part of The Revolution band. As a keyboardist and pianist, she contributed to some of Prince’s most renowned songs, such as “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry.” Besides her work with Prince, Coleman has created music for various TV shows and films like “Heroes,” “Shameless,” and “Naya Legend of the Golden Dolphin.” She has also released multiple solo albums and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Revolution. Some of her other notable works include “Lisa,” “No Other Love,” and “Collage.” Notably, Coleman was part of Prince’s The Revolution from 1979 to 1986.
