Malcolm Smith, a former American football linebacker, played in the National Football League (NFL) for various teams such as the Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, and Cleveland Browns. He was selected by the Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft and gained recognition for his outstanding performance in Super Bowl XLVIII, where he earned the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) after making 10 tackles, recovering a fumble, and scoring a pick-six.
Smith’s other notable accomplishments include playing college football at USC, signing a five-year contract with the 49ers in 2017 (although he only participated in two seasons due to injuries), and being ranked among the top 4-3 outside linebackers in the NFL. He played for the Oakland Raiders between 2015 and 2017 and the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2015. An interesting fact about Smith is that he is the third linebacker in history to receive the Super Bowl MVP award.
