Mark Jordon, an English actor, is best known for portraying PC Phil Bellamy in the popular ITV drama series “Heartbeat.” Although he left the show in 2007, his character remains well-loved. Jordon has also made appearances in various television series, including “Coronation Street,” “Holby City,” “Casualty,” and “The Bill.” Additionally, he has worked in theater, receiving praise for his lead role in the West End production of “Our Boys.” In recent years, Jordon has participated in the British TV series “Emmerdale” and directed the short film “To The Sea Again.”
As a child, Jordon was inspired to become an actor after watching Steve McQueen movies. He attended the Oldham Theatre Workshop and co-founded the Damned Busters, performing in clubs, pubs, and street theatre to obtain his Equity card.
