Mike O’Malley, an American actor and writer, is known for his roles in various TV series and films. He gained prominence for portraying Jimmy Hughes in “Yes, Dear” and Burt Hummel in “Glee,” earning an Emmy nomination for the latter. O’Malley also created the TV series “Survivor’s Remorse” and has appeared in other notable shows such as “Raising Hope,” “Justified,” and “Parenthood.” Additionally, he has acted in the movie “Cedar Rapids” and received critical acclaim for his off-Broadway play “Three Years from Thirty.” Before moving to Los Angeles to star in his own sitcom, “The Mike O’Malley Show,” he hosted the early 1990s children’s game show “Nickelodeon Guts.”
