Morgan Landrigan, born on August 22, 1987, in San Francisco, California, is a versatile and accomplished dancer who has made significant contributions to the world of contemporary dance. She began her dance journey at the tender age of three, immersing herself in various dance forms such as ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. Landrigan honed her skills at the prestigious San Francisco Ballet School and later pursued her higher education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance.
Her professional dance career took flight when she joined the renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 2010. Her exceptional talent and dedication propelled her to the position of principal dancer in 2015. With the Ailey company, she has graced stages worldwide, captivating audiences with her mesmerizing performances in critically acclaimed productions like “Revelations,” “Memoria,” and “The River.”
