Nancy Dolman was a talented Canadian actress, writer, and singer who gained recognition for her contributions to the comedy industry. She was well-known for her role in the popular TV series “Soap” and her performance on “SCTV.” Alongside her husband, comedian Martin Short, Dolman co-wrote the film “The Last Polka.” She also appeared in other TV shows like “Roseanne” and the movie “A Cool, Dry Place.” As a voice actor, she lent her voice to the character “Martha Monkey” in the children’s show “George and Martha.” Dolman was actively involved with ACT, a charity organization that supports families dealing with ALS. Sadly, she passed away in 2010 due to ovarian cancer. One notable aspect of Dolman’s career was her performance in the Canadian Rock Theatre production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
