Paul Orndorff, known as “Mr. Wonderful,” was an American professional wrestler and college football player who gained prominence in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). A key figure in the early days of WrestleMania, Orndorff famously teamed up with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in a match against Hollywood Hogan and Mr. T. During his college years, he achieved 21 career touchdowns at the University of Tampa. A versatile athlete, Orndorff excelled in various sports such as amateur wrestling, bodybuilding, track and field, and even arm wrestling. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 71.
