Pepe Reina, whose father is former Barcelona goalkeeper Miguel Reina, started his football journey at Barcelona’s youth academy, La Masia, in 1995. He served as the first-choice goalkeeper for the Barcelona reserve team from 1999. Throughout his distinguished career, Reina has played for prestigious clubs such as Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and AC Milan, earning a reputation as one of the finest goalkeepers of his generation due to his exceptional reflexes and shot-stopping abilities. In addition to his club success, Reina has been an integral part of the Spanish National team, helping them secure victory in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2008 and 2012 UEFA European Championships. Off the field, Reina actively participates in philanthropic efforts, particularly in the fight against cancer. In 2019, he contributed some of his extensive football shirt collection to a charity auction, with the proceeds supporting cancer research.
