Peter Criss, also known as The Catman, is a founding member, drummer, and award-winning singer-songwriter of the legendary rock band Kiss. He is the lead vocalist for several of the band’s most popular and iconic songs, such as “Beth,” “Black Diamond,” and “Hard Luck Woman.” Criss’s Catman persona has become an instantly recognizable symbol in pop culture. In 1978, he released a solo album and has also made appearances with other bands like Sisters Doll. In 2017, Criss announced his retirement from touring.
