Peter Jeffrey was an incredibly skilled and easily identifiable English actor, renowned for his adaptability in classical theater and television comedy. Born in Bristol, England, in 1929, he studied at Harrow School. Some of his most notable works include supporting roles in “The Italian Job” (1969) and “The Return of the Pink Panther” (1974). He also portrayed Sir David Metcalfe in “The Darling Buds of May” (1991-1993) and provided voice-overs for “Danger Mouse” (1981-1992). Additionally, he played the Master of Trinity College in the TV movie “Brideshead Revisited” (1981).
