Rand al’Thor, born in the Two Rivers, is the Dragon Reborn, a prophesied hero destined to save the world from the Dark One. Trained as an Aes Sedai, he became one of the most powerful users of the One Power. Rand led the forces of the Light to victory in the Last Battle, defeating the Dark One and uniting the Westlands under his rule.

His notable achievements include creating the Three Oaths, which all Aes Sedai must take, and establishing peace and prosperity in the Westlands. Rand married Egwene al’Vere, Min Farshaw, and Aviendha, and had children with each of them.
