Raymond Jessel (1929-2015) was a talented Welsh artist known for his work as a songwriter, screenwriter, orchestrator, and musical theatre composer. In 1955, he relocated to Canada and started his career by composing and orchestrating for CBC Radio and CBC Television. Jessel gained prominence through his collaboration with Marian Grudeff on the Broadway musical Baker Street. Throughout his career, he received five MAC Awards for “Original Song” and the 2004 Bistro Award. Additionally, Jessel contributed to shows such as The Dean Martin Show and The One And Only Eddie Duke.
