Ramesh Gopi Nair, popularly known as Remo D’Souza, is a renowned Indian choreographer, film director, and producer based in Mumbai. Born on 2 April 1974, he has made a significant impact in the Indian film industry with his exceptional choreography and directorial skills. D’Souza has choreographed over 100 films in his career, which spans more than 25 years, and is considered one of Bollywood’s most successful choreographers.
Some of his notable works include Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Bajirao Mastani (2015). He has also directed films such as F.A.L.T.U., ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, and Race 3. As a judge, he has appeared on popular dance shows like Dance India Dance and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. D’Souza has received numerous awards for his choreography, including the National Film Award for Best Choreography for the song “Deewani Mastani” from Bajirao Mastani.
