Throughout her career, she has appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including notable roles in A League of Their Own, where she played a sister in the first female professional baseball league, and Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. In addition to her acting work, Coleman is an activist and a prominent member of the Church of Scientology.
