Reginald Carey Harrison, better known as Rex Harrison, was a celebrated British actor recognized for his unique voice and charm. He gained fame for his portrayal of Professor Henry Higgins in the musical film “My Fair Lady,” earning him an Academy Award. Harrison’s other prominent works include “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir,” “Anna and the King of Siam,” “The Agony and the Ecstasy,” and “Dr. Dolittle.” He also received a Tony Award for his performances in “Anne of the Thousand Days” and the Broadway production of “My Fair Lady.” Besides acting, Harrison was a talented artist, showcasing his artwork in galleries across London and New York.
