Interestingly, Podestà learned her lines by rote with a voice coach, as she could not speak English. She also starred in other films such as “Ulysses,” “Le ragazze di San Frediano,” and “Hercules,” earning various awards, including the San Sebastian International Film Festival Award for Best Actress.
