Tay Jardine, the Canadian pop singer, and songwriter, rose to fame as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the pop-rock band Walk off the Earth. Jardine co-founded the band in 2006, and they gained initial recognition through viral YouTube videos, notably their cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
Walk off the Earth has since released several albums, including “My Rock” (2010), “R.E.V.O.” (2013), and “Sing It All Away” (2015), which featured the hit single “Red Hands.” The band has won numerous awards, including two Juno Awards for Group of the Year and an MTV Video Music Award for Best Cover Song.
