Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson, also known as YG, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record executive who gained prominence in the West Coast hip hop scene with his 2009 debut single “Toot It and Boot It.” Recognized for his politically charged tracks and affiliation with the Bloods gang, YG has released successful albums such as “My Krazy Life,” “Still Brazy,” and “Stay Dangerous.” He has collaborated with notable artists like Nipsey Hussle and Mustard and received awards from BET Hip Hop Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.
