Joseph Wayne McVey IV, also known as Z-Ro, is an American hip-hop artist hailing from Missouri City, Texas. Renowned for his emotional and introspective lyrics, Z-Ro delves into themes such as poverty, drug addiction, and relationship issues. Some of his most well-known albums include “The Life of Joseph W. McVey,” “King of Da Ghetto,” and the collaborative project with Slim Thug, “Still Surviving.” Other significant works are “Let the Truth Be Told,” “Crack,” and “No Love Boulevard.” Z-Ro has gained recognition for his contributions to the Houston rap scene and has earned numerous accolades for his work.
