He gained prominence for his collaboration with his younger sister, Selena, the ‘Queen of Tejano Music,’ by producing and writing numerous hit songs for her, such as “Como La Flor,” “Amor Prohibido,” and “Baila Esta Cumbia.” Additionally, A.B. Quintanilla III established the bands Kumbia Kings and Kumbia All Starz and has continued to make music as a producer and writer, maintaining his status as a significant figure in Latin pop.
