Alan David Halsall, born on August 11, 1982, is an English actor renowned for portraying Tyrone Dobbs in the long-standing British soap opera, Coronation Street, since 1998. Originally from Salford, Greater Manchester, England, Halsall began his acting career at just 10 years old in the ITV series “Children’s Ward.” He has since featured in various television shows, such as “Heartbeat,” “Queer as Folk,” and “The Bill.” Throughout his career, Halsall has earned multiple awards, including three National Television Awards for Best Serial Drama Performance. Alongside his acting pursuits, he co-owns the LACE Market Theatre Company in Manchester.
