Alan Pardew, a British football coach and former player, is well-known for managing Premier League clubs such as Newcastle United and Crystal Palace. As a midfielder, he played for various English clubs, including Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic. Pardew has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award five times and led Crystal Palace to the FA Cup final in 2016.
In recent years, Pardew has continued his managerial career with various clubs. In 2020, he was appointed as the manager of CSKA Sofia, returning to full-time management after a two-year hiatus. However, he left the club due to racial abuse towards their own players by fans. Subsequently, Pardew took charge of Dutch top-flight strugglers ADO Den Haag until the end of the season.
During his time playing in English non-League football for Dulwich Hamlet and Yeovil Town, Pardew was a member of the England semi-professional squad. He also received a brief call-up to play for the Republic of Ireland national football team, thanks to his Irish grandfather, but did not play in any matches for the team.
Overall, Alan Pardew has enjoyed a successful career as both a player and a coach, achieving notable accomplishments in the Premier League and international football.
