Alfie Boe, an English tenor and actor, is renowned for his dynamic performances in musical theatre. He rose to fame for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, including appearances in the 25th Anniversary Concert and the Broadway revival. Boe has also hosted on Classic FM radio and performed in productions such as La bohème, Carousel, and The Mikado. The University of Bolton awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his contributions to the music industry. In 2023, Boe released his album Serenata and performed at the London Palladium for Classics at Christmas. Notably, before becoming an international singing sensation, Boe began his career as an apprentice mechanic at a sports car factory.
