Ali Stroker, an American actress, author, and singer, has made history as the first actor in a wheelchair to perform on Broadway and to be nominated for and win a Tony Award. She gained recognition as a contestant on “The Glee Project” and has since appeared in popular TV shows such as “Glee,” “The Fosters,” and “Charmed,” as well as films like “Lethal Weapon” (2018), “City Boyz” (2019), “Everyday Miracles” (2015), and “Instinct” (2018). A passionate advocate for disability representation in the entertainment industry, Stroker has collaborated with organizations like the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and established a scholarship for performers with disabilities at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. In 2019, she became the first wheelchair-using performer to win a Tony Award for her role in the Broadway production of “Oklahoma!”
