Ann Turner Cook, born on November 20, 1926, was an American educator, mystery novelist, and the iconic face of the Gerber Baby artwork featured on the Gerber Products Company’s baby food packages. Cook pursued a career as a high school English teacher in Tampa, Florida, and authored several mystery novels, including her autobiography “Search for Ann Turner” and the Brandy O’Bannon series. Throughout her life, she was dedicated to promoting literacy and received numerous awards for her contributions to the literary world. Cook passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 95.
