Austin Reed Dillon, an American professional stock car racing driver and reality TV show actor, is best known for his victory in the 2018 Daytona 500. He participates full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing (RCR). Dillon is the grandson of RCR car owner Richard Childress, the son of former driver and RCR general manager Mike Dillon, and the older brother of NASCAR driver Ty Dillon. He is also engaged to a former NFL cheerleader. Among his other notable accomplishments are winning the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship, the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship, and the 2017 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Dillon has appeared in various TV shows and films, including the racing documentary series “Beyond the Wheel.” He is also actively involved in charity work through his foundation, which supports children with chronic or terminal illnesses.
