Austin Rivers, an acclaimed American professional basketball player, currently serves as a shooting guard for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. He first gained prominence as one of the top high school basketball players in the nation. Rivers joined the NBA in 2012 and has since played for various teams, such as the New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, and Minnesota Timberwolves. Some of his notable accomplishments include receiving the ACC Freshman of the Year award in 2012 and achieving a career-high 41 points in a 2018 game against the Sacramento Kings. Additionally, Rivers has appeared in several TV shows and films, like “Survivor’s Remorse” and “Uncle Drew.” An interesting aspect of his career is that he played college basketball at Duke University, where he led the team to victory against the China men’s national basketball team.
