Jonas Erik Altberg, professionally known as Basshunter, is a Swedish singer, record producer, songwriter, and DJ born on December 22, 1984, in Halmstad, Sweden. He gained popularity through his unique style of bass-heavy eurodance, trance, and electronic pop music. In 2009, he released the album “Bass Generation,” which included hits like “All I Ever Wanted” and “Dota.” Basshunter has collaborated with DJ Mental Theo’s Bazzheadz on “Now You’re Gone” and featured Dulce MarÃa on “Wake Up Beside Me.” In 2006, he covered James Lord Pierpont’s “Jingle Bells.” Additionally, he participated in the UK reality TV show “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2010.
