Franklin Roberto Lashley, known as Bobby Lashley, was born on July 16, 1976, and is an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist, and actor. He is currently signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), performing on SmackDown under the ring name Bobby Lashley. Throughout his impressive career, Lashley has won the WWE United States Championship twice and the Bellator MMA Heavyweight World Championship. He has also made appearances in films such as “The Way of War” and “Meet the Spartans,” as well as television shows like “The Last Ship.”
As a military veteran, Lashley has achieved numerous accolades in bodybuilding, including winning the NPC Mr. Missouri and placing fourth in the NPC USA Championships. In addition to his wrestling and MMA careers, he competed in the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic, finishing in 8th place overall. Interestingly, Lashley became a star in the wrestling industry later in his career.
