Rodney Basil Price, also known as Bounty Killer, is a renowned Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist recognized for his confrontational and aggressive style. He gained prominence in the ’90s as one of the most assertive dancehall stars, often incorporating gun talk into his music. Some of his most notable works include the albums Roots, Reality and Culture and My Xperience, as well as hit singles “Down in the Ghetto” and “Sufferer”. Bounty Killer has also engaged in clashes with other dancehall artists, such as Beenie Man and Vybz Kartel. He established the “Poor People’s Governor” program to support low-income communities in Jamaica and has participated in various charitable efforts, including collaborations with DJ Khaled.
