Brandon Boston Jr. is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born and raised in Norcross, Georgia, Boston gained prominence during his high school career at Sierra Canyon School in California, where he played alongside LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, and Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire Wade. His exceptional athleticism and high-flying dunks captivated audiences, making him a standout player.
After a successful high school career, which included being named a McDonald’s All-American in 2020, Boston committed to play basketball at the University of Kentucky. In his freshman season, he showcased his skills and was named to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) All-Freshman Team in 2021. However, he decided to forgo his remaining college eligibility and declared for the 2021 NBA Draft.
Boston was selected with the 51st overall pick by the Memphis Grizzlies but was later traded to the Los Angeles Clippers via the New Orleans Pelicans. He signed a two-way contract with the Clippers, which also allowed him to play for their NBA G League affiliate, the Agua Caliente Clippers. Despite spending his rookie season primarily in the G League, Boston has since become a valuable member of the Los Angeles Clippers’ roster.
